Decorations

These are the decorations displayed at our wedding luncheon. It was held at my home ward in the cultural hall. This was the table as you walked in. Thank you Joanne for making the flower arrangements. I also displayed a picture of my older sister, Keilie, who passed away before I was born.
These are the flower arrangements that were on every table. They helped prop up some of our engagement pictures. We had place for 75 people and not one seat was empty. Thanks everyone that came out!
This is a quilt that was made mostly by my mom. She had family and friends from the ward help, too, but she did a majority of it. Aunt Susie also did the binding all the way around. Thank you all that helped.

The best day of my life

Bridal Shower November 8, 2008

Today was my Kimber/Fuller/Wessman/Church bridal shower. Here I am in my Bride 2 be sash.
For our treat we had Neapolitan Ice Cream and wafer cookies. All the colors of my wedding. Yummy!
I had a ton of friends and family come. Here's me, Rachal, and Payton. Thanks everyone that came to support me and Blake.
Here I am with all of the gifts that were brought today. There were also a lot of people that chose to put money into our account and bring them to our luncheon. Thank you everyone. Our condo is stocked!

Elk- Tastic

who says a plan can't come together, the perfect spot, and a few well executed elk calls put us into a thundering herd of 60 head of elk pouring down the hillside. lets just say somebody had a wee bit of the shakes. But even in this compromised state the bullet found its mark on a cow skirting the edge of the herd.
Now I know what your thinking, is he that small, or is she that big, oh trust me she's that big!
you think this is impressive, guess who's pulling the truck,
we definitely had our hands full with two deer and an elk, i would say the trip was a success!

The mystery

O.k., So Stephanie's House is Jinxed! 9 days ago Keilie took Steph's wedding ring and hid it in a pair of pants. Tonight Shelby took my wedding ring and hid it here.....

Can you find it?!
For an entire hour we searched through the trash, looked in all of the drawers and cupboards in the kitchen, look in the rock bed out front, searched in all of the rooms, emptied the sink of dishes, looked out in my car, emptied my purse- twice, looked under furniture in every room, felt in pockets about seventeen THOUSAND times, then finally looked in her toy box and SURPRISE there it was. Mystery Solved!

How we pay the bills

In September, Blake started working for the LDS printing press. He overseas printing of the Friend, Ensign, New Era, Book of Mormon, and Bibles. He works three days a week at 12 1/2 hour shifts.

In May, I started working for America First Credit Union as a member service agent. I answer phones and make sure everyones accounts are accounted for. I work 6 days a week at 6 hour shifts.
Pretty soon we'll be millionaires!

My Little Chevy

I was looking at a Red 2003 2- door Chevy Cavalier to begin with. I had told the seller to hold it for me with a $300 down payment. He told me not to worry, that he'd hold it for me. However, when I went to pick it up he'd sold it out from under me. He then told me that he'd find me another car- seeing as he is a car dealer. I was so upset and hurt that he'd do this, I told him no thanks. A week and a half went by with no cute little red car, so Blake went car hunting. He came across this...
It's a 2003 Chevy Cavalier with only 82,000 miles! I'm sad I didn't get the "hot rod," but LOVE this one too. Pretty good for a first car if I do say so myself! Looking back, the other one had more miles and is less family friendly, so this is the better purchase. It only wants for a good CD player!

The Proposal!!!

On July 18, 2008, I took Blake out for his birthday to Taggarts. The fun part about it was we both had an agenda. Mine- for Blake's birthday and his- the proposal. Since I had no idea of his intentions, I said I would watch Payton on short notice for Danielle. Blake was thrown off by this, but took it in stride (he's such a good guy!) We get to Taggart a little late- as in they were almost closing! Because Payton was fussy we had to trade off so one or the other could eat. Because of the distractions we didn't have time to even talk. Outside, we looked up at the stars together and got ready to leave. While in the car, Blake takes a weird turn and says, "I want to take you somewhere." We drive up to Basin ski resort and Blake gets out of the car. He says, "Hold on one second," then he got into the trunk for the candles and a lighter. He took a trail, lit the candles, and came back to get me- while Payton slept in the car. We walk up the trail, talking and laughing, and I finally saw what he'd been doing, although I was still confused. Blake asked me to dance even though we didn't have music. Since we had Payton he wasn't able to take his Jeep with the sound system. While we were dancing he began to tell me the qualities I had that he'd always been looking for in a wife. Then, he got on one knee and asked me to be his bride. Staring at the ring I finally understood the whole scene. I exploded with excitement and tears and jumped toward him with a resounding YES!

Love at first sight

On March 16, 2008 I laid eyes on the love of my life for the first time. After my cousin, Kevin's, mission farewell, we all went back to his house. Blake jumped out of his jeep, came over to say hi, and things moved fast from there. On Monday, we went to the Layton park and talk on the bridge for hours, asking questions and getting to know each other. From then on we did everything together. We watched movies, played games, went bowling, golfing, swimming, fishing, hiking, biking, walking, rode motorcycles, and hunted together. On July 18, 2008 Blake proposed asking me to marry him. I'm the luckiest girl in the world!

Just Us

We are Blake and Brooke Wessman. We're getting married on November 14, 2008 and can't wait.

I love him more than Eternity!
Just a couple of kids in love!
